Senior Project Manager — PMO (US, Remote)
Lead enterprise programs and transformation initiatives in the PMO of a global Fortune 500 industrial technology leader. Fully remote, US-based only, B2B.
🌍 This position is open to candidates based in US only, with fiscal residency there.
B2B collaboration invoiced through a legally registered entity is required.

Our client is a global Fortune 500 industrial technology leader (confidential) with engineering and manufacturing operations in ~50 countries, currently running enterprise-scale IT and business transformation programs.
Role Summary
Provide strategic leadership and accountability for the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives. Lead large-scale portfolios, establish governance frameworks, influence executive stakeholders, and ensure realization of expected business outcomes aligned with enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment - Lead enterprise-wide programs and strategic initiatives from conception through execution - Partner with executive leadership on program vision, priorities, success criteria and value realization - Drive business transformation and organizational change through stakeholder engagement
Portfolio & Project Governance - Establish and maintain governance frameworks, controls and reporting across projects and programs - Manage project portfolios balancing scope, resources, risks, dependencies and competing priorities - Provide executive-level visibility into performance, financial health, milestones and outcomes - Ensure compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements and PM methodologies
Project Initiation & Planning - Lead business case development, feasibility assessments and investment justifications - Define project roadmaps, delivery strategies, governance structures and resource plans - Drive comprehensive risk management and mitigation planning at project and enterprise level
Delivery Excellence & Execution - Direct execution of large, multi-disciplinary projects with geographically distributed teams and multiple vendors - Ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and benefit targets - Resolve complex issues, remove organizational barriers, make critical decisions to keep momentum
Stakeholder & Executive Management - Build strong relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, clients and external partners - Communicate program status, risks and recommendations to steering committees and governance boards - Serve as primary escalation point for critical project issues and strategic decisions
Risk, Change & Organizational Transformation - Lead enterprise change management for adoption of new processes, technologies and operating models - Proactively manage strategic risks, interdependencies and organizational impacts
Program Closure & Benefits Realization - Ensure transition of deliverables into business operations and sustainment models - Validate achievement of business objectives and measurable outcomes - Conduct executive-level lessons-learned reviews and formal program closure
What You Bring
- 8+ years of project/program management experience, with senior/enterprise-level programs
- Proven delivery of complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives (IT/ERP transformation experience is a strong plus)
- Executive stakeholder management up to C-level and steering committees
- Portfolio governance, financial stewardship and benefits realization
- Experience with globally distributed teams and multi-vendor environments
- PMP / PgMP / SAFe or equivalent certification preferred
- Excellent English communication skills
- US-based, authorized to work in the United States (mandatory)
