Cloud Data Migration Architect

Architect enterprise-wide Teradata to BigQuery migrations on GCP.

B2B collaboration invoiced through a Romanian/EU registered PFA or SRL is required.

Mandatory requirements

  • Proven Teradata → BigQuery migration — Firm requirement. Without it the candidate does not pass qualified screening

Core skills

  • GCP Data Architect experience leading large-scale BigQuery migrations
  • Enterprise-wide migration at hundreds-of-TB scale
  • Cloud Database, Data Lake and end-to-end migration strategy
  • Hands-on Databricks
  • Hands-on DataProc
  • Java or Python development
  • Advanced SQL tuning for complex workloads

Technical environment

  • Data Streaming SIG support

Nice to have

  • Oracle / Exadata — Strongly preferred
  • Snowflake
  • Italian language — Strong preference, not eliminatory
