Cloud Data Engineer
Migrate large-scale data warehouses from Snowflake to BigQuery.

B2B collaboration invoiced through a Romanian/EU registered PFA or SRL is required.
Mandatory requirements
- Proven large DWH migration to BigQuery — Hundreds of TB scale, enterprise-wide. Casual BigQuery usage does not qualify
- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification
- 5+ years high-performance data pipelines (streaming and batch)
- Fluent English
Core skills
- BigQuery expertise
- Snowflake as migration source — Ideal source platform; other sources acceptable only with meaningful Snowflake exposure
- Secure, reliable, scalable data lakes and DWH on GCP
- Enterprise cloud solution design and client project leadership
- Infrastructure provisioning automation, DevOps, CI/CD
Nice to have
- Fluent German — Strong preference, not eliminatory per client update
- Technical consulting experience
- Advanced SQL tuning — cost and performance optimization
- Streaming pipelines with event delivery semantics
- Production-grade internet-scale Big Data architecture
