Cloud BI Consultant — Looker / LookML & BigQuery (Paris, Hybrid)

Advanced LookML, governance, Looker API and BigQuery for an enterprise Google Cloud BI project. Paris hybrid, French a major plus. 3 months + extension.

B2B collaboration invoiced through a legally registered entity is required.

We are looking for a Europe-based Cloud BI & Analytics consultant with a niche focus on Looker, LookML and BigQuery for an enterprise Google Cloud project.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Looker and BigQuery
Proficiency in advanced LookML concepts: extends, refinements, includes, parameters, templated filters
Experience optimizing models for performance and implementing data restriction (sql_where, access_filter, etc.)
Experience designing complex, interactive dashboards using advanced features and the viz config editor
Proven ability to establish instance-wide governance, manage permissions and introduce multi-environment setups (dev-uat-prod)
Experience using the Looker API for automation and troubleshooting embedded environments
Experience deploying and managing Looker (original) or Looker Core instances (maintenance, vanity URLs, etc.)
5+ years of project management, technical solution delivery and interfacing with executive stakeholders
5+ years of direct experience in BI reporting and semantic modeling

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certification (e.g. Google Cloud Looker / Data Analyst / Data Engineer)
7+ years of technical client service experience in Data Analytics
Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
Customer-facing BI migration experience (discovery, planning, execution, operations)
SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Oracle), R or Python
Fluent French
